The residents here are not prisoners; they are free to come and go as they please, like any adult. However, their staying with us is definitely contingent on following the House rules. When they screw up, they are sometimes given a second chance, maybe in exchange for a few favors. Sometimes, though, we just toss their stuff out onto the curb and tell them to call someone, if they even have anyone to call.
